The Kerala State Co-operative Inspectors’ and Auditors’ Association representing the Inspectors’ & Auditors in the Department of Co-operation, Kerala Government.

The Association have a social vision, following the principle of


  • Progress of co-operative movement to enable it to play its due role in national development.

  • Protection and promotion of the interest of the inspectors and Auditors in the co-operative Department of Kerala.



Some progress has been made to sortout the various issues during talks and strikes, there are also some hurdles and difficulties which are needed to be overcome. Kerala state Co-operative Inspectors & Auditors Association has been actually fighting for the revision of salary of co-operative inspectors and Auditors and other employees in Co-operative department. In the talks with 9th pay revision committee, Association Leaders discusses issues like anomilies in existing pay scales of Jr. Inspectors & Jr. Auditors, re instalation of special grade Inspector / Auditors post, ratio promotion to Assistant Registrar & Asst. Director posts.


As per orders No. G.O. M.S. 17/2011 dtd. 29.1.2011 Govt.of Kerala bifercated the co-operative Department into two separate Departments under the control of Registrar of co-operative societies. The decision of Govt. to divided the employees into two departments by inviting option adversely affected the common seniority of the employees and then their opportunities for promotion to higher posts. The association represents the matter before government and launching protection against the bifercation.
